Dripping Rainfall Simulators for Soil Research—Design Review
نویسندگان
چکیده
Dripping rainfall simulators are important instruments in soil research. However, a large number of non-standardized have been developed, making it difficult to combine and compare the results different studies which they were used. To overcome this problem, is necessary become familiar with design performances current simulators. A search has conducted for scientific papers describing dripping (DRS) that thematically related research using DRS. Simulator analysis was performed integrally, more than one dripper (DRS>1) (DRS=1). Descriptive numerical data extracted from sorted by proposed categories, according types subtypes used determined. The six groups elements could consist determined, as well their characteristics, representation statistical analyses available parameters. characteristics analyzed presented, facilitating selection future Description accordance basic simulator should provide all easier replication step closer reduction diversification standardization intended

Simulators for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Review
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is made by an oversized variety of networked sensing nodes. It's rather advanced, or perhaps unworkable, to model analytically a WSN and it always results in simple analysis with restricted confidence. Besides, deploying test-beds supposes a large effort. Therefore, simulation is important to check WSN. However, it needs acceptable model supported solid assum...
متن کاملA Review on Cloud Simulators
Cloud computing is today’s emerging technology, which offers computing resources as a service over the different network, through the web browser. As the adoption and rapid application development of cloud computing increases day by day, it is challenging to evaluate the security and performance problems that cloud computing confronts. Presently, modeling and simulation technology has become a ...
متن کاملA Protocol for Conducting Rainfall Simulation to Study Soil Runoff
Rainfall is a driving force for the transport of environmental contaminants from agricultural soils to surficial water bodies via surface runoff. The objective of this study was to characterize the effects of antecedent soil moisture content on the fate and transport of surface applied commercial urea, a common form of nitrogen (N) fertilizer, following a rainfall event that occurs within 24 hr...
متن کاملA Review of Mesh Generation for Medical Simulators
by Michel A. Audette, Andrey Chernikov, and Nikos Chrisochoides Introduction and Learning Objectives Medical simulation is the application of computers to synthesizing an anatomical response to a simulated therapy. In particular, surgery simulation uses a software program to synthesize tissue response to virtual surgical tools, typically (but not exclusively) a mechanical response to cutting or...
متن کاملThe dripping faucet revisited.
High accuracy experimental results on the nonlinear dynamical behaviour of a dripping faucet are presented. The distribution functions for droplet sizes and drip intervals together with return maps are studied for various dripping rates. Increasing this control parameter, chaotic behaviour is obtained and discussed. (c) 1996 American Institute of Physics.
